What changes is the world around it — and which one suits you, this week, is a question we'd rather answer than ask.

You tell us what you want from the stay — utter silence; a small town with restaurants; high country and snow; long dawns by the water. We tell you which of the twelve villas to drive to. Same price, same linen, same standard of bath, same wood-fired sauna. Different country around the door.

The entire villa, to your party only — never shared. Two-night minimum, up to six guests at any one of the twelve.

We match a villa

By hand. We send you the villa name, the keys, a map, and a small set of notes — by return of post.

Never sachet, never decanted, never own-brand. Each villa is stocked with full-size body wash, body lotion, soap and hand wash — selected from Byredo and Le Labo, by hand, for the country and the stone. Fresh per stay; guests are welcome to take what is opened.

Reservations are reviewed by hand within twenty-four hours. Confirmation, the villa name, and the keys follow by post. Refundable to thirty days prior; we do not charge for changes made in good faith.
